Hi! A few quick things about myself:

I'm a geek at heart. I love art and I love kitsch and I treat both with equal love.

I dress at times like a goth, a punk, a swinger, and whatever you call a guy who wears lots of Hawaiian shirts. I haven't really found a subculture label I would use to describe myself, so think of me as a mix of that.

An online quiz once said: "Because it's so easily appreciated, and often wacky and physical, your sense of humor never ceases to amuse your friends. Most realize that there's a sly intelligence and a knowing wink to your tastes. Your sense of humor could be called 'anti-pretentious' ".
I think that sums me up pretty well.

I'm at a point in my life where most of the stuff I thought I wanted to do with my life doesn't seem to have worked out and I haven't figured out a good alternative. I know that doesn't make me unique, but I'm finding this a very powerful and weird experience.

I am so happy to have a wonderful wife-like girlfriend, vireo, and many good friends. However, I'm new to the Portland area and I'm looking to make some new friends. If I sound interesting, please feel free to comment or friend me. =)
